Research: S&P Value to Gold still low at a mere 1.68x

I am trying to take the arbitrary value of USD out of the stock market and truly understand if the market is up or down excluding impact of inflation and Forex. Yes, you can argue the Feds can manipulate the value of USD by playing with interest rates and pump and dump the market at will. BUT, they can't control the price of gold against worldwide currencies. So I figured the value of S&P in terms of ounces of gold may be a great way to judge where the market is at right now and give me an insight otherwise not possible to see.
So after Google'ing the concept, I found out that this is actually a way to measure market performance and very commonly used. I was not the one who came up with the idea first, haha.
So anyway, currently we are sitting at 1.68x ratio (1.68 ounces of gold equals S&P500 value)/

Let me know what you think!

[seriös] Växla in mynt?

Wayland Group DD

I want to use this thread to present the key findings of going through recent Wayland news releases. Everything shown here is public accessible. I have no intention to accuse someone of fraud or something like this, just asking questions ....

Feb 20 2019: Wayland Group Provides Corporate Update
I do not want to speak about the well below average generated revenues nor the revenue forecasts. Just as a side note: Ben had a forecast of ~ $15,000,000 for Q4 2018 (October – December 2018). The corporate update states $1,305,033 for Q4 2018 (< 10 percentage of the forecast). In addition, you cannot whitewash the 480% increase to the previous quarter.

“Wayland has also entered into an agreement to obtain additional funds to support the expansion of the Company’s global footprint and fund development of its flagship Langton facility. This agreement is with certain investment funds managed by Alpha Blue Ocean Inc. (“Alpha Blue”) a money manager based in London, United Kingdom with a strong track record of partnering with public companies and delivering meaningful value to their shareholders.”

Founder and CEO of Alpha Blue Ocean Inc. is Pierre Vannineuse (https://www.linkedin.com/in/piervan/)

Ok let’s have a look at their strong track record:

JUN 21 2018
QuickCool AB (Publ) ("QuickCool" or the "Company") has entered into a financing agreement with European High Growth Opportunities Securitization Fund through its financial advisor Alpha Blue Ocean Inc.

Okay next
MAR 28 2018: CybAero and European High Growth Opportunities Securitization Fund (“EHGO”), advised by Alpha Blue Ocean Advisors Ltd, member of the Alpha Blue Ocean Investment Group (“ABO”), has now signed an agreement regarding a financing solution of up to SEK 52.5 million in the form of thirteen convertible loans, the first loan of SEK 4.5 million and the following twelve loans each of SEK 4 million.
See: http://news.cision.com/cybaero/cybaero-signs-agreement-with-alpha-blue-ocean-for-up-to-sek-52-5-million,c2483046

Seriously? Just 3 months later:
June 22 2018: Sweden’s largest military drone maker files for bankruptcy
“CybAero had provisionally negotiated a financing solution with the Luxembourg-based European High Growth Opportunities Securitization Fund, or EHGO, to raise $6 million in the form of 13 convertible loans. The EHGO had hired the London-based Alpha Blue Ocean Advisors to mediate a deal. The first tranche in this solution involved a bridge loan amounting to $227,000.
Nasdaq First North rejected this first tranche arrangement and insisted that, in order for trading in its share to resume, CybAero needed to place a minimum of $114,000 in escrow on a authorized bank account. Moreover, Nasdaq First North launched an investigation to determine if the negotiated financing solution violated stock exchange rules.”

FIT Biotech Oy Company release 20.02.2019 at 14:30 EET
Liquidity crisis, request for a tranche and changes to financial calendar and date of the Annual General Meeting
Despite the financing agreement in force, Alpha Blue Ocean (”ABO”) has not paid tranches envisaged by the agreement since 12 November 2018. This has resulted in a liquidity crisis in FIT Biotech Oy (”Company”). The Company has today filed a latest request for a tranche with ABO. Unless ABO pays this tranche by 22 February 2019, Company will have to file for bankruptcy.

I think you are able to recognize the pattern. However the best is yet to come. Just google “alpha blue ocean death spiral”. Same type of financing for Element ASA – a Norwegian based mining company.

“The Induct Manager will demand a million dollar compensation from the "Death Spiral Mortgage Company" Alpha Blue Ocean Stock Exchange and Finance”
See: https://vaaju.com/norway/the-induct-manager-will-demand-a-million-dollar-compensation-from-the-death-spiral-mortgage-company-alpha-blue-ocean-stock-exchange-and-finance/

Why Would a Company Want Death Spiral Financing?
“A company that seeks death spiral financing basically has no other option to raise money to survive.”

Haha … Sean?

Also have a look after Pierre Vannineuse other investing company Bracknor IG. I did not check, but it possibly has a similar track record.

I could go on like this, but I think you got it. So this means “strong track record and delivering meaningful value to their shareholders.” for Ben?

IMPORTATION OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS (according to part 2)
Part 2 - IMPORTATION OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS

But where is the GMP certificate? Latest GMP certificates for Germany:

https://i.imgur.com/bZxouN0.png

Just for their facility in Canada. Maybe the missing of the announced GMP certificate is because of the german tender process. Maybe not, who knows …

“These certifications provide Wayland with the foundation to start selling product into the lucrative German and other developing European markets …”

Oh really? Not in my view …

Jan. 31, 2019: Wayland Group Comments on Recent Promotional Market Activity

See: https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2019/01/31/1708838/0/en/Wayland-Group-Comments-on-Recent-Promotional-Market-Activity.html

Really? What is your business model @ Wayland?!

Just to give you one example:

BlackX GmbH received 1,300,000 shares (each $1.50 = $1,950,000) for the creation/translation of pump articles. See: https://webfiles.thecse.com/CSE_Form_9_-_Notice_of_Issuance_of_Securities_BlackX_12Nov2018.pdf?4gdPoHHl03IN_5qafloB2.0FP4zHeqYb=

For what exactly? Example:
https://www.dgap.de/dgap/News/dgap_media/maricann-group-inc-mit-volldampf-die-zukunft-ceo-ben-ward-gibt-ausblick-ueber-hervorragende-entwicklung-der-wayland-group/?newsID=1110809

A template lacking in content with share price predictions of 3 to 5 Euro (4.5 – 7.5 CAD).

Next news release:
Jan 30 2019: Wayland Group Corporation: European Cannabis Giant Wayland is said to be in advanced talks to purchase and re-open the Voss Water bottling plant in Norway
See: https://www.ftmig.com/company-news-releases/european-cannabis-giant-wayland-is-said-to-be-in-advanced-talks-to-purchase-and-re-open-the-voss-water-bottling-plant-in-norway/

The not named London based Norwegian investor in the last paragraph is probably Lars Christian Beitnes (also mentioned in the second paragraph). After reading his name in a Wayland press release again, I got excited. Again? Yes, I have done some DD about Beitnes when Wayland announced the first Malta LOI with Medican Holdings (USD$10.1MM for a recently created shell company in Malta) - see: https://www.newcannabisventures.com/maricann-to-pay-10-million-to-acquire-malta-licensed-cannabis-producer-medican-holdings/

I was glad when Malta Enterprise terminated this LOI “Malta Enterprise then contacted Maricann to request the Company make its own application, as their preference was to work through Maricann rather than Medican.“ – see: https://www.newcannabisventures.com/maricann-to-pursue-malta-medical-cannabis-license-independently/

Why am I shocked to see the name Beitnes and Wayland in a press release?
In my view Beitnes is far away from being a person you should do deals with. He is being accused to be part of several frauds/scams in the past/present and recently left as a Chairmen of Element ASA – see: https://www.dn.no/bors/element/lars-christian-beitnes/rikard-storvestre/avtroppende-styreleder-far-100000-kroner-i-maneden-for-radgivning/2-1-498862

Element ASA … wait … yea the norwegian based mining company who is the victim of the death spiral financing by Alpha Blue Ocean Inc.!!!

There is a long thread about him in a Norwegian stock community with everything mentioned why you should avoid him – see: https://forum.hegnar.no/thread/16282/view/0/0?page=1

Because of the length of the thread, see some highlights:

I know this is much content, but if you want to make your own picture of Beitnes just dig into this whole Element ASA debacle starting last year. Two auditors (EY & PwC) and the CFO left Element … Then Beitnes left as Chairmen but now serving as external consultant for Element receiving 100.000 NOK monthly. https://www.dn.no/bors/element/lars-christian-beitnes/rikard-storvestre/avtroppende-styreleder-far-100000-kroner-i-maneden-for-radgivning/2-1-498862 would be a good start. Or dig deeper into the Swedish Pensions Authority lawsuit against Beitnes.

Finally … just ask yourself why does Ben deals with such shady persons? Did Ben no DD on those guys or did he not want to … And that is just the top of the iceberg.

Un bon courtier pour non-résidents ?

Bonjour à tous,

Profil
Age: 30 ans
Situation: Célibataire
Immobilier: aucun car non souhaité
Investissements:

The State of Nasomi

EDIT: Nasomi fixed quite a bit of the stuff in this but I'm letting it sit as is. Currently Nas has started to release ToAU and plans to implement it in it's entirety. With the recent BST nerf/ToAU drop, I'm excited to see where we go next. Now if only he'd take a look at Rampart and Fealty.
Before I begin, let me preface this post by saying a few things. With the recent spotting of Ninja streaming this server, I thought some of these things ought to be said. I've played here on Nasomi for nearly 2 years. I've worked hard for everything I have gotten, never used 3rd party programs and have killed everything the game has to offer except AV. I've mostly enjoyed my time here and am happy that someone has been running this server for us to play. In this post I'm going to go over things that have been plaguing this server for a very long time, from Claimbots and their fixes, to broken content, to patch implementation. All with the hope that this gains traction and we can all have a better servemore informed playerbase. With all that said let's get to it.
For awhile now, I've seen Nasomi push patches that are untested and buggy as all hell. All in the name of making the player experience more era appropriate/fair. Things such as the claim update that were a welcome change were soon found out to be choosing a "golden" era of character ages which gave those players priority over every other player, no matter how close or in a better position someone was in. This took nearly 2 months for a fix to be brought after it was found out. It's also why we don't have the character age page anymore, because instead of actually admitting there was a problem with his implementation, Nasomi was of the mindset nothing was broken, it was implemented correctly and we(read: those not getting claims) were all just using confirmation bias/salt to skew our view.
For over a year Samurai AF3 BCNM has been broken. One of the top DD Jobs for almost any fight is a shell of it's retail self. The fact that this has been broken since the BCNMs were taken out or very shortly after is nothing less than a disgrace and a blemish to this server. It'd be like removing Black Belt from Monk....... WHICH IS STILL BROKEN BECAUSE GREAT LEADER DECIDED HE'D RATHER REMOVE A TENSHODO NPC THAN PULL ONE OF THE MANY USELESS NPCS FROM OUT OF ERA CONTENT FOR A GOD DAMN SUPERBOWL BETTING EVENT. A fucking betting event is the reason that Monk can literally not get the best item in the game that is not called Gjallarhorn or Aegis. This is beyond comprehension, I've looked at the That Which Must Not Be Named and can see multiple ways it could be fixed at least in some form or fashion. Not to mention the fact that those unlucky players that have actually started the quest are unable to even enter the Tenshodo.
Now that I've mentioned BCNMs, let's talk a little more about them. BCNMs were taken away due to somebody entering BCNMs without actually consuming the orb. This was apparently achieved via the case/sack/satchel, and is why you can not access those in the field, because instead of just removing access in BCNM zones, it was decided that no access outside of towns was a better solution. BCNM/KSNMs have been slowly reintroduced over the past 9(?) months-ish. With each set of additions, we've come to find there are multiple implemented with each wave that either A. Do not spawn a treasure chest or have a loot table. Or B. Have something completely busted which makes it entirely impossible to defeat.
Speaking of people abusing flaws in the code for personal gain, let's talk about our good friend Deadwing and the "account security features" offered here on Nasomi. Our good friend Deadwing's mule, Consortium was banned recently, along with 8 other characters and 450M in gil. Included in these characters were Nikkei, Forex and Russell, 3 characters with 100 Clothcraft, Bonecraft and Smithing respectively. He used these characters, along with Consortium and others, to circumvent the account system using VPNs and/or a laptop/2nd PC. As well as to manipulate markets in game without actually playing in any other fashion for over a year. It took Nasomi over 4 months since the account implementation to "catch" our friend, which was done after an influx of 50M+ hit his inventory(then spread among his characters) in the span of about 30mins. This system is a complete joke as I have seen people admit to using VPNs to log on other characters on nasomi.com forums and nothing was done about it.
With regards to VPNing multiple accounts, let me give you a brief history of the claim system that I've seen and what has been changed about it. Initially everything spawned yellow, this led to certain groups obviously using 3rd party programs to assist in getting claim. After many months of complaints from various linkshells, the "golden ID" era was brought about. For almost every HNM since this change, they have spawned claimed to the first person it has aggroed. Then the kotaku article wave of players started making it to endgame and you would see, the same person get claim in DA with 100+ people 3 days in a row. This is far from the random rate that was promised. When discovered, it led to a lot of drama all over the server with those who were benefiting continuously saying things such as "Bring more people to the camps." or "I'm sure your LS has people logging into VPN to camp multiple HNM." After months of arguing, Nas admitted he was wrong when he again, adjusted the way claim was selected and now it is much more random.
But Nasomi wasn't done there. After an increase in people claiming multiple mobs for exp PTs that had no need to have more than 1+1slept, to the numerous reports of people griefing by holding mobs when competition arrived at farming locations. Nasomi changed the claim hold system to 1 mob per player, sounds good right? Yeah the players thought so too. Except his testing for this seems to have been all of 30-45 minutes in Lower Delkfutt's Tower after posting a system message. I say this because he pushed this change a few days after these tests in Delkfutt's and speaking to multiple people who were there all said the same thing, there's so much wrong with it. From the fact that a missed ranged attack will not claim mobs to the incredibly dumb situation we find ourselves in that mobs that die from AoE damage while unclaimed give neither exp, nor drops. RIP to your low-mid level BLMs in Giddeus.
Now I bring you to my final point, everytime, EVERYTIME Nasomi pushes a big content update, something in sea gets busted as a result. From the last update(newest claim iteration) Jailer of Justice can only be pet burned as zones will crash when a player is charmed via 2hr and Jailer of Love was not able to be popped. I've been told one LS had 30+ people gathered Sunday morning for another AV attempt and was met with a broken mob in a broken zone. Other things include but not limited to, Ix'??? not popping, random Jailers not popping or behaving incorrectly and taking absurd amounts of damage from certain types.
In conclusion, I've written this to give you the viewpoint of a veteran player and onetime defender of Nasomi, who is starting to get sick of the bullshit. There are a lot of great things about this server, but it's about time somebody addressed the elephants in the room. I'm not going to touch on things like Rampart/Fealty being broken or the entirety of BST as people get passionate about their favorite jobs.

Get ready for the trading week of March 4th, 2019!

Hey what's happening wallstreetbets! Good morning and happy Saturday to all of you on this subreddit. I hope everyone made out pretty nicely in the market last week, and are ready for the new trading week ahead! :)
Here is everything you need to know to get you ready for the trading week beginning March 4th, 2019.

The week ahead: Jobs report needs to silence rising worries about the economy - (Source)

Job growth has remained vibrant despite the slow-growing economy, and that's a trend investors are anxious to see confirmed in the February employment report on Friday.
Even with some economists expecting growth around 1 percent for the first quarter, the labor market has been strong, and economists expect to see 185,000 jobs added in February. The economy is widely expected to bounce back in the second quarter to a pace well above 2 percent, after the temporary headwinds from the government shutdown and polar vortex abate.
The jobs data tops the list of important economic news in the week ahead, particularly after a string of disappointing reports showing that both consumers and businesses have pulled back.
The stock market will pass a major milestone on Wednesday—the tenth anniversary of the day the market bottomed in 2009, when the S&P 500 hit 666. The S&P has gained more than 312 percent since that low of the financial crisis, and some analysts see the bull market continuing for at least another year.
"We think there's further upside for this bull market to go. The age of the bull does not matter. What really matters is how healthy it is," said Patrick Palfrey, U.S. equity strategist at Credit Suisse. "Whatever the concerns, around trade tariffs, or decelerating corporate profits, we believe this bull market remains very healthy."
The S&P 500 is taking aim at the 2,800 level, an important milestone that it has struggled to surpass in the past week. The 2,800 marker was an important level for the stock market four times in past several months, and holding above it could signal the rally could drive stocks to fresh highs.
Palfrey said investors first and foremost are looking at any information that can help them gauge how the economy is doing. "We're looking for confirmation in the jobs report. We think the economy is doing okay. Labor participation is improving. We're going to see that continuing to inch back up," he said.
The Citigroup economic surprise index fell to a new 18-month low Friday, following a recent rash of disappointing reports. When economic reports come in below economists' expectations, the surprise index falls and a low number for the index is reflecting the economic slowdown.

Goldman Sachs economists Friday said they were expecting first quarter growth of just 0.9 percent, but they raised second quarter growth to 2.9 percent.

New home sales

In addition to the jobs report, there is the Fed's beige book on the economy Wednesday and new home sales Tuesday. But after delayed and weaker data, it's the jobs report that matters most. The employment report is one data point that has been released as normal through the shutdown, and in the January data, there was a huge upside surprise of 304,000 nonfarm payrolls.
"All eyes are on the job market. If businesses lose faith and they stop hiring, and job growth starts slowing, then we do have problems," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics. Economists expect wages to rise by 0.3 percent and unemployment to fall a tenth to 3.9 percent, according to Refinitiv.
"I think companies should stay steadfast in their hiring," Zandi said. He expects job growth of about 200,000 but notes there could be a payback for the huge amount of hires in January.
"I think the economy is fragile, growth is below trend. It's very vulnerable. The only thing that will keep it together is if businesses keep hiring and the job market holds up, and I think it will unless the president doesn't settle with the Chinese on trade, or there's a hard Brexit or some other geopolitical event," said Zandi.
The Federal Reserve has paused in its interest rate hiking because of the slowing economy and concerns about financial conditions. But the Fed could move forward on rates again, if inflation begins to pick up, and for that reason the wage data in the jobs report would also be key were it to show new wage pressures.
There are a few speeches by Fed officials, including Fed Chairman Jerome Powell who speaks at Stanford University Friday night at an economic conference.
Market focus will also be on the European Central Bank which meets Thursday.
"I think people are expecting some detail about a long-term loan operation," said Marc Chandler, chief market strategist at Bannockburn Global Forex. The ECB is expected to allow European banks to extend the duration of some short-term loans. Chandler said the ECB could also push back on its time frame on raising interest rates, which it has said would not be until after the summer.

Typical March Trading: Mid-Month Surge and Flat

Over the recent 21 years March has been a solid performing month for the market. Average gains over the period range from a low of 1.29% by NASDAQ to a respectable 2.0% by Russell 2000. March has also been the #1 performing month by average performance for S&P 500 and Russell 2000 over the last 21 years. First trading day of March gains typically kick of the month, followed by choppy to slightly higher trading until around the tenth or eleventh trading day when the market tends to surge higher until around the fifteenth trading day. At this point the market tends to cool and can succumb to some end-of-quarter selling pressure.

Bad Q4 Not A Bad Sign

Now that the 4th quarter market debacle is behind us and solid gains have been logged in 2019 year-to-date we have taken a deeper dive into market action following Q4 losses for the three main U.S. market indices. DJIA and S&P 500 have been solid over the next for the next four quarters and the next year when Q1 is positive, but also good following all but three subsequent Q1 losses. On average up about 80% of the time for the full year with average gains around 8%. NASDAQ’s record is choppier.

http://finance.qq.com/a/20160829/003486.htm

Ron Insana
Ron Insana

Hey what's happening StockMarket!

Source: Citigroup

Right.

Get ready for the trading week of March 4th, 2019!

Hey what's happening stocks!
